Our school, Macdonald Drive Junior High School is part of the Eastern School District, which operates 68 schools with a total student population of 27,165 students. The Board employs a total of 1,811 full-time equivalent teachers.In addition, the Board employs approximately 580 support staff who work as student assistants, secretaries and maintenance personnel.

Our School has an enrollment of 685 students in grades 7-9. Prescribed programs are presently offered in English, Early French Immersion and in late French immersion. Additionally, our school offers small-group instruction to students in English as a Second Language (ESL), Special Education, Challenging Needs. Students actively participate in sports, organized clubs, assemblies, band, choir, intramural sports, a Science Fair and a Heritage/Cultural Fair.
